Step-by-step instructions
Step 1: To find your registration window, log in to your myOkanagan account and navigate to: Self-service > Student > Registration > Registration status
Step 2: See an educational advisor to ensure you are registering for the correct courses

Step 4: Use the 鈥淧lan ahead鈥 feature to save a schedule for the fall or winter term
Step 5: Ensure you have met all the prerequisites or corequisite courses
Step 6: Office administration (OADM) courses have set registration and withdrawal dates. To view the dates for a particular class, please click on the title to view the important comments for the dates. For example:
Step 7: Ensure you select the correct term. Choose the term and year only such as Fall 2026 (do not select the Continuing Studies option unless your program is offered through the Continuing Studies department).
Once you have selected your classes and created a plan, you can register at your assigned time.
Step 8: Register or waitlist for your classes. You can either web register from the plan you created or browse classes and add the courses. Video:
Step 9: If you want to withdraw from any classes, be aware of the deadline to get a refund and the last day to withdraw without a penalty (no refund). You can find these dates on the important dates (academic schedules) page on our website.

I am trying to web register, but I am getting a message about maximum hours?
During the academic year, fall and winter students can register for a maximum of six courses; summer term students can register for a maximum of four courses. If you want to add another course, you will require approval from the Dean of your program.

When I try to register, I receive a message about academic probation?
Students are placed on academic probation after earning a semester grade average below 55 per cent in two consecutive semesters. Academic probation will be indicated on student transcripts.
